Yeah its right... That our cultures are disappearing with the new technologies
Culture is the invisible bond which ties the people of a community together. It has been Our culture too is being threatened by the present era of modernisation.
We have forgotten our mother tongue. We failed to appreciate the richness and beauty of our own language. What we speak today is just a blend of English and Urdu mixed We don’t even speak a single language.
Our culture has immense importance. The culture of a place gives it character. Culture is open to change and acceptance unlike traditions which are simply carried on from one generation to another. To protect our identity, protecting culture is a must
Everything has changed .I remember the time when people would grow vegetables at home and then dry them to make “Hokh-suen”, without which winters would be incomplete. Sadly none of that remains now. Our future generation doesn’t even know what it means to be self-sufficient.
There was a time when our tea would be incomplete without the traditional ‘Samovar’ but, today it can only be found in traditional gatherings. We are slowly forgetting our culture. Our increasing dependence on technology is ruining us. It has a direct impact on our culture and traditions. “Kangri” which used to be an integral part of our culture has been replaced by room heaters and other modern heating gadgets. Our “Samovar” has been replaced by electric kettles and thermoses.
Change is the law of nature. If a society wants to progress, it has to adapt. This doesn’t mean people have to forget their roots completely
If we don’t make efforts to protect our culture, we will soon lose our identity.
So i believe that old people still follows cultures and tradition we should not laugh on them instead we have to encourage them and gibe our efforts tooooooo.....
Thanks for giving me opportunity mate...
