Yes, They should. Celebrities are idols to many people. While most apparent among the younger generation, Celebrity influence exists across all age groups. Tweens and teens idolize the icons of the moment like Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift or One Direction, Whereas adults tend to admire older, More enduring celebrities.

People who idolize celebrities, Who don’t focus on their image and how the public sees them, Are most likely benefit from their obsession. For example, If you choose someone who gives to charity, Dresses appropriately is on television or the news because of a good deed, The influence on the person is positive. The celebrity will motivate and inspire them to give back to their community.

Actors like Robert Downey Jr who does charity work and his personal style of dealing with people and Leonardo DiCaprio who is fighting for global warming in America, While in our own country, Many actors have contributed a lot to social causes. If you remember, During the Kerala Floods, A lot of actors and popular celebrities contributed money to the affected people.

Some people like Dhoni, Are respected for their humbleness, While others like Messi are respected for their talent in their field. So I believe that we must take the good qualities of a person and implement them in ourselves.

Answer:

No, they should not. Sure some celebrities do some good, but it isn't the sole duty of celebrities to live up to our expectations on how they should act. Afterall they didn't become a celebrity by acting that way in the first place. Although they are highly praised they are still only human. They should have the choice of living their lives just like all of us do. If they choose so, great. If not, it's their life to choose, and not ours. So don't criticize them if they don't follow through with our expectations.

OR

Yes, they should. Celebrities need to be seen as individual people, and not as one whole group. I have read about and see interviews about many celebrities that go out and plant trees with the community, or will go to other countries to help the children with schools, and help people with housing. Those celebrities should absolutely be role models. They do so much good.
