Description about the Ganesh Puja celebrated in Our School:
The most exciting time of this session was the previous week when we celebrated Ganesh Puja in our School.
Since I am the school captain, I was assigned the job of bringing the Idol of the God from the idol-maker. When I entered school with the Ganesh idol I was treated like a queen.
We then started decorating the place. A junior student made a beautiful Rangoli while others exhibited beautiful arts of Origami. After that we weaved garlands of garden flowers. Some cut fruits while others made delicious modak.
In the week long celebration we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. When it was time to bid Ganeshji adieu we could not hold back our tears. We prayed to the erudite God to grant us wisdom and knowledge. With a heavy heart we bade him farewell waiting eagerly for him to return next year.
