The narrator explains his physical appearance in such a manner that portrays Roop Singh be very heighted, muscular, has a brown mustache, and a sharp nose.  He is appropriate for the role of a bodyguard. He also explains his moral traits that Roop Singh is very honest and has a lot of self-respect.  
  • He is also moderately educated. He has passed his intermediate and knows how to speak English.  
  • The narrator also talks about his different occupations like farming, teaching but since these did not pay well for him to feed his family so he became a bodyguard. Now he works for the author in his apartment to provide him security services.

Leader of Men is a sad story of the struggles Roop Singh. He was a poor man and despite every hurdle, he was still the hero of the story.
