Explanation:

Teacher:- Does anyone know about Independence day?

Student:- Yes teacher, Its on 15 th August . Its the day when we got independence from British rule in 1947.

Teacher:- Why independence was needed from the British?

Student:- It was because British ruled our land and treated us as slaves. We were not given the same rights as they had in our own country. They divided India into religions. Also they extracted wealth of our nation overlooking the people who needed helped from famines, poverty and hunger.

Teacher :- Who helped us in taking independence ?

Student:- many freedom fighters like Subhash Chandra Bose , Mahatma Gandhi , Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bhagat Singh and many important people helped us in our freedom struggle.

Finally we got it after world war ended and there was a pressure on England as a mutiny started in British Royal Army among Indians.

Teacher:- What price was paid for Independence?

Student:- India was split into two nations.

One is present day Pakistan and other our nation Indian. Many brothers died due to communal violence and many lost their homes in both India and Pakistan.

Teacher:- Good. And how do you see them now?

Student:- I see both the nations still paying price for their Independence , hating each other and having religious animosity. I hope that both nations make peace one day and see the British for who they were and why they split them.
