I went to kolhapur after the period of floods i take an interview with a person who is living in kolhapur and get affected from this flood mich they tell us how the flood takes place in kolhapur it is said that the kolhapur is a back reservoir which situated in Karnataka and it is named as allampati and in this many year it was never 100 percent full of water but this year because of much rain it is become full from water and the water starts entering in the kolhapur city as if the level of water increases and the flood takes place the government of maharashtra had been requested to the Karnataka government to open the door of the dam but they no because they are saying that if we open the door so what water. we will use in the period of summer after requesting them any times they open the doors of the dam and the level of water in kolhapur started started decreasing
