Dear Diary,

I have learnt a great lesson today at school about the value of person. I have learnt that worldly materials cannot buy an individual's worth and happiness. Everything that we think is important in this world like money or gold has no purpose when it comes to buying freedom and happiness.

The real joy and happiness of life are all free. These are kindness, a sweet smile, love, empathy, and many other gestures that can be shown only through our actions.

Therefore from this day onward, I shall try to be a person who does not rely upon worldly materials or possessions to be happy.
