Dussehra is a time of the year that is highly awaited. I was looking forward to these vacations so much that now, back to routine life, I am feeling very low. However, all good and bad things never last forever. I had a splendid time with my family. We went to Himachal Pradesh to spend time together at various hill stations like Kalpa, Chitkul, Reckong Peo and Sangla. The temperature was below freezing point and snowfall occurred everyday morning. All these places were covered by snow peaks from all the four sides. It was an amazing trip. On our way back, we stayed for one night at Shimla too. Finally the trip came to an end as we reached our home in Delhi.

Dear diary
I was very happy in Dussehra vacation because I observed many festivals. Dussehra is a ten days and nine nights long Hindu festival. It marks the victory of goodness over evil power such as victory of Rama over Ravana and victory of Durga over Mahishasura.
