Write a diary entry after saving a child from being killed under the wheels of a passing bus. You were
returning from a market. In this attempt of saving the child, you bruised your legs and lost a packet of
ice cream.

Today, maybe for the first time, I am actually feeling proud of myself for a brave deed I did. I saved the life of a child. I was returning from the market when I saw a child in the middle of the road. A bus was coming at full speed. For an instant, I got extremely frightened and shouted at the boy to warn him. Instead of understanding what I was trying to say, he got scared and started running. I dashed to the middle of the road, and pulled him towards me. He just kept staring at me when I was busy scolding him for his carelessness.
I took him to the nearby police station and reported the matter to the inspector. The inspector praised me for my bravery. I was on the ninth cloud at the moment.
I then noticed that I had bruised my legs but it was worth saving the life of that poor innocent child. I also laughed at the fact that my ice cream had melted. I returned home and told all of the family members about this tragic incident.
