Dear Diary,
While I was on the way to my school, I saw a man selling parrots. The parrots were in the cage. They were looking so beautiful that I wanted to buy all of them. I was so tempted to buy at least one of them. As I was going to my school, I decided to buy it on my way back home. When I reached my school, I told all my friends about this. They were also very excited to know about this. During my English period, our ma'am taught a poem about the caged bird. The poem was about the birds who are forced to live in the cage by humans. Their craving to fly in the open air and feel the freedom touched my heart. I decided to buy the bird, but not to keep it with me in the cage but to set it fly in the open air. I did the same after coming from my school. I felt so happy that I've set a bird the free space which it wanted.

Hey diary, the storm lasted for two days. It was a total havoc. All the houses are destroyed, trees fallen and many animals are now homeless. I was in my room with my mother when I suddenly saw a little black thing crawling towards me. It took me by no time to realise that it was a baby pigeon. I was looking for her mother when I remembered it must have been the same pigeon that used to stay above our ac. I felt really bad for the poor thing. I quickly ran towards it and held her.
Her soft and wet feathers could tell how bad the storm must have been to these little creatures. I kept the tiny bird with me her mother came around, looking for her. I was so attached to her in just a few days. I looked after her my own child. And now the birds visit me every morning near my window to show their love.
