Dear Diary

As you know, I have decided to manage my budget for the entire month with just my pocket money. Hereafter, I will not ask Dad to loan me some cash. I have decided not to manage this month’s budget by not spending unnecessarily on comics and toys every time I see them. I have a lot of them already. Also, I will cut down on buying chocolates. Hereafter, I will buy them only twice a month. I will also try to think of other ways to cut down unnecessary expenses.

This way, I can save a bit of pocket money every month and eventually have a large savings. I can then buy something I really need without having to ask Dad to give me a part of next month’s money beforehand. I am sure that he will also be happy with me.

I am in trouble.

I don’t know how I will manage the budget for the entire month.

I earn barely enough to keep my body and soul together.

The lunch with the lady has made a hole in my pocket.

I have no source of extra income to manage my living for the rest of the month. I am wondering what I should do.

I am planning to borrow money from my friend.

I also think to take advance from my publisher.

I may have to take up a part-time job to make up the loss given to me by that lady.

I know I may have to go hungry sometimes.

I pray to God to give me strength in this difficult time.
