Today I am on cloud nine as my joy knows no bounds. The appreciation I won and the praises of the Principal have proved that they were impressed by our team and the quality of our work. After all the motto of our team is 'With dedication, towards perfection'.
There were around twenty schools which participated in the Inter School Event Management Competition hosted by our school, i.e. Tagore International School. I was to look after photography. I was able to capture the event realistically and beautifully. The judges were amazed to see a few photographs of mine.
Since our team belonged to the host school we were not given any position, yet it was an achievement worth cherishing.

I had waited all my life for this event!! I am a member of my schools Journalism club and photography is my specialty. When our clubs coordinator announced that there was going to be a inter-school competition to cover the marathon that was being held in my city, I was thrilled!!!
I was chosen as the photographer along with my best friend to cover the event. We wanted to do things differently and discussed ideas.
On the day of the event, we not only covered the conventional winners, but we paid special attention to participants who were differently abled, participants who were out of the conventional athletes mould.
I clicked pictures of a 92 year old granny who was running along with her 10 year old great grand son. We also interviewed a paraplegic who was more enthusiastic than most of the others. All in all it was a day well spent.
We submitted our entries for the competition.
Within a week we came to know that we were the winners of the competition for our different approach...I felt so happy!!
