Dear Diary,
Hello ! How are you ? I am fine and hope the same for you. I am really sorry for I wasn't able to talk to you since a few days. I was actually busy in organizing a surprise for my mother on the contrary of mother's day. As you know my favorite day , which is , mother's day was on 13th of may.
I think one has to realise the importance of mother in one's life and a special day has to be there to thank our mothers for all the contributions they did to us. Although, we should thank them everyday.
We planned a surprise party which when my mom saw, she was out of the world.
We tried to plan a day which was full of enjoyment. As soon as she woke up, we greeted her and prepared breakfast so that she could relax. We also gave her a ring which said " Thank you mom ". After which we went to a restaurant to have dinner and didn't let her work for the whole day.
The smile on her face at the end of the day was really satisfactory.

Dear Diary,
As you already know, my mother is a very hard-working working mother who even after having the most difficult day at her workplace, i.e., the hospital, always bears a smile when she comes back home. During covid too, she had to go and work for almost around 12 hours a day sometimes to provide proper care to the patients who were sick. Even when she was suffering from covid, she made sure to look after the family in every way possible.
So, this year my father and I decided to give her a special and well-deserving Mother's day. In the morning, we made her favorite breakfast and finished all the chores before she got ready to leave for work. She left around the usual time around 10 am. While she was at work, my father went to the shopping mall and bought a bracelet for her that she had been eyeing for a while now!
On the other hand, I went to her favorite restaurant and booked a table. There was a special surprise that I had already planned for her besides this. But I will come back to that later on.
At around 5 pm she came home. My father gave his present to Ma. Oh, how happy she was! I asked her to get ready fast and go to the restaurant.
As soon as my parents left, I got busy arranging the perfect surprise. After we lost our beloved beagle Coco, all of us were very upset. But my mother was the most disheartened. So, I thought getting a pet for her would be the best gift. Although we can never replace Coco, it would be good to have a pet among us. I rushed to the pet store. There in a cage was the cutest labrador I had ever seen! I knew he would be perfect for our family.
My parents came back home at around 9 pm. As soon as they came, Oreo came running with the cutest paws to welcome them. I could see my mother's eyes tearing up. I knew she was missing Coco so badly. She loved Oreo and thanked me for the most beautiful surprise one could give her.
So, Mother's Day was very eventful along with the addition of a new family member.
Mothers are probably the most selfless beings on the earth. They always put their family first. They always forgive us and our mistakes and never stop loving us no matter what. So, I am glad my father and I could make Ma feel special on her day.
