Yes. I was the class monitor in class 8 for a week or two before I was fired by the teacher. Here's the story:

As you know, class monitors are responsible for maintaining peace in a class in the absence of teachers.

As a monitor, I used to write down names of people who disturbed the class.

One day, there was a girl I didn't like whose name I wrote down.

Ma'am: What did she do?

Me: Ma'am she wasn't listening to me.

Ma'am: Was she talking loudly?

Me: No ma'am….

Ma'am: Then?

Me: ….she…she drank water without permission.

*facepalm*

Needless to say, the teacher FIRED me in case I ended up becoming a dictator.

class as usual. My responsibility will be to maintain discipline in the class during the shifting of periods as well as during the breaks. I will have to be very fair. I can’t give the other students any chance of feeling that I am biased. My second important role will be to behave as a perfect model of discipline. I will have to wear the best uniform; I will have to reach school in time; I will have to switch off the lights while leaving the class. I think leaders should be perfect role models to inspire the group they lead. Dear diary I promise you I will do my best to do the new responsible job assigned to me.
