Dear Diary,
Today I regret going to India and making insensitive and illogical policies that did nothing but outraged the people of India. But in a sense what we did was good for India. Our policies incited them to rebel against us.When they rebelled, they United as a nation. The more we applied the policy of divide and rule, they United.
I think that as a ruler we failed. We must have treat the country as our own child. We should have made ķind of policies that would have benefited India too and not just Britain.
