Dear Diary,

today dad said he wanted me to grow up and become a doctor! I don’t even like to look at blood. You know that I want to become an army officer. Yuck! What was he thinking?! Does he know that you have to go to school for like a cagillion years to be a doctor? I love words and I love to write - heck, I could use those eight years writing books and be much better off and maybe made some money too! Hmm, he never said what kind of doctor now did he? Is there such a thing as a doctor of books and writing? Stay tuned diary, I’ll let you know tomorrow.
