Answer:

Michael Stone was a blind pole vaulter who was one of the two competitors selected for the finals in the pole vaulting competition held during the National Junior Olympics.

He was always encouraged by his parents, and his dad undertook the responsibility of training him.

One of Stone’s best performances was when he performed with a 17-feet pole that was three inches bigger than the poles he had used so far.

It was the most difficult day in his career that spanned a duration of 17 years.

Hello, diary

I want to describe how I felt when I needed to clear this round to earn the National Junior Champion title while other vaulters had less misses.

My entire collection of vaults today looked to be the fruit of my labour. You couldn't tell if I was astonished, ecstatic, or cocky about clearing the bar at 11 feet. He landed on the inflated landing mat immediately. I jumped over the 2 inch and 4 inch bays without displaying any emotion. I realised the other vaulter had missed his last and final jump when I heard the audience sigh. He understood when to make his last jump. To win, I had to successfully complete this last Jump. Thanks to everyone that I win this competition. I am feeling so elated
