Dear Diary:
I am very sad today! I saw a terrible accident with my own eyes. Approximately 20 school children were killed by the careless driving of the driver. I just could not see the rescue operations. Many injured children were rescued and rushed to the hospital. The accident happened due to the excessive speed of the bus. The driver lost control and the bus fell into the ditch along the road. The accident could have been avoided if the driver was a little more careful. The Government must make strict rules and regulations for schools to ensure safety of school children. I was so depressed to see the parents of the deceased children crying. I pray for their souls. I pray to God to give courage and strength to the bereft parents to bear their irreparable losses.
