Dear Dairy,

Today was singing competition in our school. I and Saumya( friend , give any name as per your choice , I choose this) participated in this competition. The audience was enjoying our both songs. They were confused who will win. Some were saying Saumya won, and others were saying I won. Within an hour the principal came on the stage and started his speech. After his speech he announced the result. Saumya won the contest and I was the 1st runner up.

I was very happy.

Dear Diary,

I am very happy today. There was a singing competition in our school. Many of my friends and I participated in the competition. The selection round was held last Sunday. Finally, my friend, Seema and I got selected for the final round. Today was the final round. I was very excited about that. I practised singing many songs because in this round we were given a tune of a song and then, we have to guess and sing it. A total of 5 tunes was given.

I guessed the first 3 properly. But the second-last and the last one was a bit difficult. So, I got 3 out of 5 points. And Seema got 4 out of 5 points and she won. I was the first runner-up. I am happy because I won a medal.
