Plastics are non biodegradable, harmful components made up of synthetic polymers. They are non disposable and imposes harmful effect on environment.
A day without plastic would be very good and refreshing. Plastic will not be scattered everywhere on the road, hence drains, sewage system will be less clogged. Though it will be a bit problematic to carry stuffs, but one can use eco-friendly jute bags as a substitute.
Plastic when burnt , causes air pollution, as it produces many harmful gases which not only causes breathing trouble but also fills the fresh air with impurities and smoke.
If we stop using plastic, the marine animals will also live a healthy life as, huge number of marine animals are dying by swallowing plastics and getting trapped in it.
Government in some part of India has banned use and sell of plastic. This should be applied everywhere to make our environment a better place.
