Sri Lathangi Vidya Mandir Matric H.S. School's green ambassadors are looking forward to meeting former president Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. They were the winners of many competitions launched as part of a recent environmental campaign to commemorate the International Year of Forests.
The two-week campaign aimed to raise student awareness about global warming and encourage further efforts to restore flora. Environmentalists educated kids on issues such as Green Earth, Save Our Globe, Plants in Everyday Life, and Water, Energy, and Electricity Conservation as part of the campaign.
