It is celebrated to honor Rama-chandra, the seventh avatar. Diwali is particularly important because it celebrates the release from prison of the sixth guru, Guru Hargobind. People decorate thier houses with beautiful lights and candles and diyaas. On this occasion, kids also burst crackers . We should celebrate an eco- friendly Diwali. Eco-friendly Diwali helps reduce noise and air pollution. Earthen diyas are perfect and can easily be disposed of without causing harm to our atmosphere.
