So first of all, a very very happy, prosperous and glowing Christmas to all my fellow Brainliacs, stars, benefactors, mods and all the rankers!
This essay might seem a little long amd lengthy too, but trust me, you shall enjoy reading this!
》So, first of all, What is Christmas?
We all say that wow it is Christmas, it will be so fun, etc. But what is Christmas actually? The meaning of Christmas depends on the point of view and differs from person to person! We will get into that topic later on, first let's understand why Christmas is celebrated and considered such an important festival.
Most of know the real story behind the celebration of Christmas. As the name of this auspicious and joyous festival suggests, it is something related to Christ, i.e., our lord, almighty, Jesus. Lord Jesus was born between 4-6 BC. Althought the exact day is still not known, many scholars say it to be 24 or 25 December. But some Christian Authorities oppose the fact and dismiss it saying that he was not born on that day.
Leaving that aside, Jesus was born on this day, considered and celebrated as Christmas.
You must be thinking now, Was he a that much great person that his Birthday is celebrated as the most important and greatly celebrated festival of such a great importance across the world? Well yes, he had a great personality. He always used to preach and follow the holy paths and paths to non-violence, respect and kindness to all, no discrimination, etc.
He was indeed a great person who "was" not, but "is" a legend to date. His legacy has not ended. He had always told his followers and subjects to follow the paths of kindness, respect, non-violence, peace, saying no to wars, fights, etc.
If I start writing about him now, I think I would exceed the word limit! His great personality can't be described in some words.. He never discriminated anyone on the basis of race, religion, caste, etc. and was strongly against the conitnuation of such evils to the society.
He spread the message of oneness and unity across the globe, along with opposing the ideas of wars and fights among people as well as countries.
He also did a lot of great works of charity in his lifetime. ^_^
Oh so okay now, coming back to the topic of Christmas, and leaving aside the legend, now you now why Christmas is celebrated. Now, I'll tell you how it is celebrated. ^^
》How is Christmas celebrated?
As I had said before too, the meaning of Christmas depends on the point of view. The way of its celebration is also different. For some, it is enjoying with family, friends, for some, it is eating delicious food items prepared on this day. But the traditional way, which is celebrated by most of the people, states that the people should reunite and be with their family and friends and enjoy it with them. After a get-together, they shall have a traditional lunch which usually contains delacies like roasted turkey, cake, etc. and playing games and enjoying after that. They also give presents and gifts to their loved-ones as a symbol of their love.
But, some people, instead of going the traditional way, celebrate it in their own style, nevertheless, it is the enjoyment and feelinf of togetherness that matters afterall. ^^
Now, if I had to tell what a perfect way to celebrate Christmas according to me, would be, I'll say that a perfect Christmas for me will have my beloved family, my crazy friends, some yummy food to tuck into, etc.
But, Christmas should also be equally joyous and enjoyment filled for poors too, right? So if I had had the option to so it, I would have also loved to celebrate my Christmas with the poors. Donating some money, clothes, food, would make them so happy, wouldn't it? Doesn't it feels great when someone is happy because of you, of course it does! How happy would they also feel that someone wants to celebrate festivals with them too!
Just imagine yourself like that, you have a family, but you don't have that much money, and you are in the state of poverty, so you cannot celebrate your Christmas properly. How bad will you feel? That is the main reason I want to celebrate my Christmas with them.

Well I have answered some of it in the above parts too, stating that a real Christmas differs from person to person. For me, a Christmas would be called Christmas when it is an enchanting and beautiful combination of Togetherness, family, friends, compassion, enjoyment, that perfect winter weather and ah the beautiful white snow!
The cold weather and you are having a fire lit in front of you spreading warmth, your friends and family sitting over there, outside you can see white snow softly decorating the sky and the oh so gushy and warm feeling inside! How good that feels isn't it? :P

Trying to follow the paths of Lord Jesus.
♡ Being compassionate about what we do.

A christmas would be incomplete for me without the decorations!
Snowflakes as decorations can be amde out of paper. (recycled one, save trees guyz!)
Christmas tree decorations can be made and many DIYs are available that can be done with family too! Family Activities!
So do ya remember? I said that we will talk about the true Christmas later? So lets get started on that topic now! Wake up if you have slept!
The reason for the existence of Christmas - Lord Jesus.
Lord Jesus just wanted peace and kindness. Christmas, in true essence, should mean the paths of Jesus Christ to be followed! Afterall this global festival is celebrated because of him. Other things regarding this topic I have said in your other questions too! Jesus did not like the poors be discriminated and made fun of. So that's why Christmas should be enjoyed by all, including poor people.
Christmas for children basically means Santa Clause, Jingle Bells, Gifts, etc.
A tradition has been going on since long, that children keep a red sock, and a list of the things they wish to have, aside. And the kids believe that Santa comes and puts gifts and the things they want in the sock!
I still believe that and do that, :P, tho I donno if it is true.
Hmm, it's been long now!
I have been writing it continuously for an hour now, honestly, I had checked the time!
So pardon me if there are any typos or any grammatical mistakes as I haven't read it finally after writing!
