To my friends,
Nothing is harder than saying goodbye... Especially if we are all going separate ways.
I have met you all at different stages in my life. Some of you may have come during our fifth grade awkward days and some might have appeared during my last year of high school. No matter how long ago we have met, it doesn't defeat the fact that we have all grown together in the time we have known each other. Whether that was years or months, saying goodbye to you will be difficult.
As a friend, you have learned a lot about me - the good and the bad - and as your friend, I have done the same. Learning about your favorite color or food to learning about the college you're going to or what you will be majoring in. Talking about our crushes or the hardships that life has thrown at us. Arguing, laughing, crying, smiling; we have been through it all. And though these times seem like they have flown by, just know that it would be impossible to forget them.
What I am trying to say is that being friends with you all has impacted my life for the better. We have been through ups and downs, but being your friend has been something amazing.
We have come to the time in life where we are all going our separate ways. Whether we are going across the country for college or just getting completely immersed into the real world, I know we won't be able to see each other as often or at all. As sad and difficult as that may be, we all still share some unforgettable memories together.
Such as, adventures to the beach and hiking mountains just to appreciate the view together. Or simply watching Netflix all day and staying up all night. We've been to our high school prom and numerous middle school school dances together. We've spent hours driving around on open roads and watching the sky change colors before us.
