• The largest desert of India is known as the Thar Desert and it is considered to be the seventeenth largest desert of the entire world.
• Its climate is subtropical and it is located majorly in India and the rest is in Pakistan.
• The soil of the desert is arid and is subjected to erosion every year. Shrubs are common of type senna, Phog and castor, and trees like lebbel, acacia dots the entire landscape.
