I hope this letter finds uh in best of spirits.

After having received ur report card , we were pained to know that u have fared badly in your half - yearly examination . Besides , it's really shocking to know that you have not passed even in English and mathamatics which are main subjects .

I have been told by a few friends of yours , that you are neglecting studies and devoting more time to cricket practice . it is true that sports have more importance in a student's life but nothing should be done at the cost of studies .

I therefore , advise you to not to neglect your studies . Devote time to studies whole-heartedly lest you should fail even in ur annual examination .

I hope u will pay proper attention to studies and work hard .
