Subject: Remedial measures for anti-social activities in the area
Dear Sir,
My name is XYZ, and I am writing to help you in ridding the area of anti-social activities that have recently seen a surge in the area. As a responsible resident of the locality, I think it is my duty to help the police take effective remedial measures. The following are my suggestions.
Penalising helmet-less bikers: A lot of bikers speed past pedestrians in the evening, shouting behind in their ears and startling them. When stopped and interrogated, they just get away with a fake apology.
Recruiting special officers at night: There have been increasing cases of muggings and molestation post 9 pm in the outskirts and the perpetrators elude the police in one way or another. Special forces will be able to tackle the criminals successfully.
Security checks at the toll: A lot of goons working for the local corp orators smuggle in alcohol and weapons as no one dares to frisk them because of their political connections. If we have a state-aided security checkpoint at the toll, it would help a great deal.
Sir, I hope these suggestions help you understand the gravity of the situation in my area. I hope appropriate action is taken at the earliest before any irreparable damage occurs.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
XYZ
