Subject: Apathy towards local cleanliness

Sir
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the local authorities and the local public towards the unhygienic condition prevailing in our city.
Last year We had already experienced an outbreak of dengue and Chikungunya in the City. Still the lesson has not be learnt. There is total apathy towards the cleanliness. Rubbish and garbage keep lying on the roads for days together. Nobody comes to clean them up for days. The drains also have not been cleaned for long and water along with garbage keeps flowing. There are no dustbins to keep the garbage covered giving rise to Mosquito breeding and surge of many diseases.

I Request the concerned authorities to take immediate steps to launch a cleanliness drive to remove all the garbage on the roads. It is important that both public as well as the authorities take up a collective responsibility to maintain a clean environment and contribute to a common good and not invite outbreak of any diseases.

Through the esteemed columns of your newspaper I want to share my concern abt the increasing protest in our city meerut towards the cleanliness .As we all know that Cleanliness is very essential for health, progress, and prosperity. Cleanliness is considered next to godliness.  As we already know that the entire nation has been swept by P.M. Narender Modi’s Swach Bharat Abhiyan bt still in our city there are issue of cleanliness through ur newspaper i want that the general public and authorities of meerut wi take a look and will try to stop this protest.The public should increase the cleanilness instead of protesting it as our nation is becoming a new india so everyone should take part in this ..hope that authorities will take steps regarding this issue and general public will do favours to the decision of authorities....
