The Chief Election Office has organised four different competitions in different age groups to create awareness among the public regarding the right to vote and ethical voting. The CEO Office has planned Polling Booth beautification competition, ‘Write to CEO’ competition; Selfie Stand Designing competition & All Goa open online rapid Chess Tournament.

The booth has to be decorated and ready by Feb 13 and will be judged by a panel of judges in the evening. Prizes for the top three booths are: Rs 20,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively. The Booth Level Officers (BLO) with be coordinating the event.

‘Write to CEO’ competition is for the students and will be conducted between January 18 to 28, 2022. Students can use Postcards as a means to write a letter. The theme of this campaign is “My Vote, My Right”, “Our Vote, Our Future” & “Participate Actively & Vote Wisely”. Students have to write postcards on any theme mentioned above. The post cards will be made available free of cost. The best three will be provided cash prizes. Students will be awarded with the Prize money of Rs 5000/- Rs 3000, Rs 2000/- for top three entries.

Selfie Stand Designing competition will provide opportunity to voters to click Selfies with a foreground related to voter awareness. Students have to make unique and creative designs for a selfie stand. Top three stands will also be provided with cash prize of Rs 5000, Rs 3000, and Rs.2000 respectively. The last date for submission is 20 Jan 2022.
