Write a letter to a bookseller, complaining that the books sent by him were not the latest editions, though you have paid the money according to the latest editions as given as given in their catalogue

Subject: Old edition books

Sir:

I had placed order for 5 Golden English Core (Laxmi Publications) reference books for class XII on December 7, 2016, receipt no. 1378. I regret to inform that the books are of 2013 edition. I had paid money for the 2016 edition and particularly requested for the same. These old edition books don’t have notes on the latest novel prescribed by CBSE.

I am sending back you the books. Kindly send me the latest edition books. I am attaching the copies of the order placement letter and the receipt for reference. Kindly dispatch the books at the earliest as my final exams are just round the corner. Hoping for a quick replacement. Thanking you.

Yours truly,
