SUBJECT: RECKLESS USE OF MOBILE PHONES
Sir,
Recently, I was travelling from Mumbai to Bangalore for business purposes on a train. As soon as I entered my coach and sat down on my seat , my attention was captured by the number of people immersed and addicted to the mobile phones .
The thing that caught my attention was a child , probably 5 years old or so, was playing on his ,yes his own phone then the parents were also clicking away on their phones and i assumed the child cannot be blamed since the parents were following the same act. As i travelled , not one person took their eyes off their phones even just to glance at others , nope they were immersed in their own virtual lives.
Phones play a significant role in our lives. I agree , It has helped mankind a lot.Nowadays,we cannot imagine a life without phones or internet.But Mobile Phones play a disadvantageous role in our lives than advantageous role. It effects especially the younger generation who have been raised in such a way that they are given mobile games to keep them quiet.
It is my humble suggestion to ask parents to keep their children away from mobiles atleast during their young age when their mind and charecter is moulded.
