To,

The Health Minister,

Karnataka.

Subject: Need of strict action to curb accessibility of tobacco products to children.

Respected Sir,

Being a resident of Karnataka state, I am much worried about the health of children of this state. Presently I am working as a teacher in PU college in Bangalore. I have seen many new stalls opened up near our college. I suspect that these stalls indulge in selling tobacco or tobacco-based products to students. Tobacco is sold in many forms. New trend is of E-cigarettes.

The teenagers are aware of evil effects of tobacco on health. But due to peer pressure they fall prey to such addiction.

I sincerely feel that the young generation should not spoil their future because of tobacco addiction. Tobacco is one of the causes of cancer. It’s my suggestion to take strict measures on accessibility of tobacco to children.

I hope that as a Health Minister you will personally look into this matter and do the needful.

Yours’ sincerely,

XYZ.
