Subject : Increasing Crime Rate in Our City and Police Taking No Action.
Sir:
I am writing to your esteemed self to express my deep concern over the increasing crime rate in our City, and the police’s lackadaisical approach to the gravity of the situation. The incidents of thefts, jewellery and purse snatching, mobile snatching, eve-teasing, and vandalism are on the increase. There is an atmosphere of insecurity and fear in the entire locality. No resident dares to go out after the dark.
We the residents of the city have lodged a written complaint with the local Police Station in which we requested the SHO for permanent patrolling by the cops during the evening. In spite of our repeated complaints, no action has been taken. Kindly put some cops on permanent duty in our colony. The patrolling of the police should be more often. These measures can really help improve the situation. I hope you will look into the matter. Thanking you.
Yours truly,
Saurabh Sharma
