Sir, — This refers to the report that India's population is now at 102. 8 crores (July 11) and that it is likely to exceed that of China by 2035, touching 146 crores.

Unless we find ways to control this explosion of numbers, all our development efforts will fail.

Every citizen in the country should be aware of the danger of the population explosion.
