Subject: The irresponsible use of loudspeakers.
Sir,
With due respect I would like to highlight the nuisance caused by insensitive and irresponsible individuals and groups.
When people use loudspeakers for all occasions like election, festivals, dance or birthday parties, I believe it is the student community who suffers the most. The use of loudspeakers (PA Systems) must be banned or restricted during examination times. It is very difficult to concentrate with loud sound blaring from all directions.
Further, noise pollution is a public disturbance. Noise pollution disturbs the sick people who needed quietness to rest and sleep. Noise pollution is a health hazard. It causes headache, irritable behavior, etc.
The government, the government departments and agencies, and the general public must join hands to defeat noise pollution.
