Subject - poor sanitary condition of our area
Sir,
Through the columns of your daily, I want to draw the attention of the authorities concerned towards the poor sanitation condition of our area.
There is no sanitation management in our area. It seems like there is no appointment of any sanitation worker. If any, then he never comes here for cleaning. The garbages thrown by the residents gets deposited in the lane's drain which stops the flowing of drain's water resulting of the overflowing of the drain's water. A minar has been formed by the deposition of the garbages. It smells so bad that it becomes difficult for us to pass through that lane without having an handkerchief on our nose. In addition to the birth of the mosquitos and houseflies, cases of malaria and dengue can also not be ruled out. The Matter has been taken up with the authorities time and again but every time mere assurances were given and the problem persists as before.
I hope you will kind enough to publish this letter in your esteemed newspaper so that the authorities will wake up from their slumber and take concrete measures such as appointing sanitation workers, imposing heavy fines on those people who throw garbages and spreading the gas to kill mosquitos and houseflies to overcome with this issue.
Thanking you,
Yours truly,
