Vasanto Durga puja or Vasanti Puja is the original form of Durga puja celebrated during Feb -March (Vasantha or spring season).. The current form of Durga Puja was started by 'Rama' before he fought with Ravana to to resque his wife Sita. So this is also known as 'Akalbodhon' - untimely Puja.
