You have give so much for our land and its thirst of freedom. You have though use how to spread peace even in war time. You though use how to spread non-violence along with the importance of cleanliness. You always emphasized the importance of cleanliness.
Upon your wish, Indian government has brought up many schemes and ideologies to keep the country dirt free. Citizens are now more aware than they were before. They behavior towards cleanliness has been improved in recent years. I believe that soon India will among the cleanest nations of the world.

Dear Mahatma Gandhi Ji,
I am writing this letter to inform you about the present status of cleanliness and attitude of the citizens towards cleanliness. People from India are very clean compared to the Indian from earlier days. People now are using public toilets and bathrooms. The corporation dust bins with biodegradable waste and non-biodegradable waste label are placed in the corner of each street.
People now prefer to adopt pets than buy them. This reduces the stray dos. People are well educated in gardening, they grow trees and beautiful flower plants in front of their house. They also clean the dry leaves in the street which is picked by the corporation people at the beginning of the day.
I am very proud that Indian people as they are becoming conscious to be clean now-a-days.
