Subject : Damaged Parcel of Books

Dear sir

We have received a parcel of the book from you we had ordered for last month. But we regret to inform you that the parcel is in a badly damaged condition. It seems to be soaked in oil and is twisted out of shape. We don't know the fate of its contents since we have not opened the parcel. Please arrange to collect the damaged parcel at your own cost and send a fresh one with its contents in good order.

Dear Madam,

          I had bought a parcel of the following five books, which was shipped to me via the Hamster Shipping Agency.

1. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

2. Oliver Twist

3. Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters

4. Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse

5. Oxford English Dictionary

         When I opened them, I found major negligence in the handling of the books, which were received with damages. Pages were torn, the covers were ripped up. Some of the pages was even missing.

         I had complained to the local branch, but I did not get any response. So I request you to kindly ship me another set, neatly handled.
