Sub:  Poor state of Government hospitals in our city.

Sir:

I write to your esteemed self to express my deep concern and anguish over the poor state of the government hospital in Jammu. As you already know there is an outbreak of epidemic of dengue and chikanguniya all across the nation. In this situation, my brother was affected by dengue unfortunately. We rushed him to the government hospital in desperation. We did not know the shocking surprises we would meet at the hospital.

As we reached there, we did not find anyone at the emergency. In the name of a nurse, we found her dozing in a corner. The doctor on duty was not to be seen anywhere. The hygiene and the cleanliness at the emergency was horrible. As I went to the reception, I found the desk deserted. Seeing the poor state of affairs, the family decided to rush to Dyanand Medical College and Hospital.

If we had not rushed my brother to that hospital, any tragedy could have happened! I felt so outraged the Government operated hospitals afterwards! What a sheer wastage of national resources, the tax money of us, the taxpayers! What is the good of such government hospitals which are as good as nothing? Why does the government not privatize such hospitals?

Now, I on behalf of all the citizens of our state have decided to bring the attention of the concerned authorities to the problem through the medium of your esteemed newspaper. I just want to ask the concerned authorities and the ministry why there is indifference and apathy to Government run hospitals. Where will the poor go? Where the money of the people collected from taxes is going? I am hopeful that you will help me by publishing this letter in your reputed daily. Thanking you.

Yours truly,

Kaushik

Subject : Lack of medical facilities in my locality.

---------------

Sir,

I will be thankful to you if you kindly publish the following lines in the columns of your popular newspaper to concerned authorities and the ministry.

There is a lack of medical facilities and hospitals in my locality. Most people are suffering from Malaria, dengue, and waterborne diseases. The death rate is increasing day by day. The students do not have a healthy body. Small babies do not get proper medicines and care. They become very weak.

People are not getting a proper check-up. Even some women face the problem. They suffer from internal pain which is unbearable. The condition of the people is very poor in the case of hygienic.

I think the minster and the government of my locality are unaware of this. I hope they get this information through your popular newspaper and take necessary action.

Thanking You

Yours Truly

Mohan
