Subject: Permission to visit Nagzira Sanctuary
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thirty-three students of our school, studying in Std. X, wish to visit the Nagzira Sanctuary. We have a great interest in wildlife and their habitat. We should like to visit the sanctuary sometime in the first week of October. We are planning a two-day visit and will make arrangements for our stay with a local school there.
We would like to have the following regarding our visit:
(i) Do we need to apply for special permission to visit the Sanctuary?
(ii) Are there any special rules and regulations that we need to follow during our visit?
(iii) Is there any arrangement for a staff member of the Sanctuary or guide to show us around?
If you have a brochure giving detailed information regarding our queries, we would be very grateful if you could send it to the above address.
Kindly let us know at your earliest if our visit will be convenient.
Yours truly,
XYZ

Sub : Highlighting the issue of frequent Electricity Breakdowns .
Respected Sir,
Through the column of your esteemed newspaper, I wanted to highlight and raise the issue of frequent electricity breakdowns in our colony. Sir, it has become a routine now. Though we people pay the bills at right time and with right price, we aren't getting our deserved service. I am talking about none other than the most basic need of humans that is Electricity.
Electricity is used at every stage of human work. But what if we don't get that electricity at our desired time ? Of course it will lead to problems. We have complained about this to Municipality but still no action has been taken. When night comes, we go for switching on the lights, but what we see is no electricity. How can we feel safe at that time ? No lights lead to theft, burglary, accidents, etc. Even children who are considered the nation - builders can't study properly at night due to this.
Sir, I would like to present an experience on mines. Last day when I was coming home from my evening tuition, there were no lights in my locality which fainted my vision. That time I was just saved from an accident with another bike which was going for its repair of headlight.
This makes me feel lucky, but everyone cannot be lucky as me. I was just saved. If a small child would have been there, he or she would might won't exist now.
We face this problem daily. Sometimes in nights there happens the case of snake bites. And unfortunately, before two days there happened a theft in the house of two senior citizens. The thiefs used the darkness of night to save and run away.
Sir, I request you to publish this in your newspaper so that an effective measure can be taken in this case. Hoping for your positive response on this matter.
Thanking you
Yours sincerely
ABC

• Here I have used ABC as the name. You are requested to use the name given in the question or similar like XYZ. Kindly don't write your real name, because it leads to deduction in marks.
• Also use a single font and pen in letters especially blue pen for examinations. Here I have used other fonts, to just explain different parts.
