Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw attention of the municipal authorities towards the shortage if water in our locality. Here, people are facing a lot of problems related to water supply and there is no fixed time for the supply of water. Sometimes water is not supplied for 3-4 days consecutively.

People here in our locality are also facing problems of dirty and muddy water. There are a lot of complaints to the municipality related to water, but still no action is taken. Therefore, I would like to request you to publish this letter in your newspaper so that the municipality opens their deaf ears and try to solve the problems of people.

Subject: Irregular supply & water scarcity

Respected Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed daily newspaper, I woul like to highlight the problem of water scarcity in Adambakkam, Chennai locality.

Due to the irregular supply of water the residents of this locality are facing untold hardships. We have great trouble even to meet our daily basic water requirement like drinking and cooking. We have run from pillar to post requesting the authorities to restore regular water supply but to no avail.

Therefore, I earnestly request the Municipal Corporation and also the higher authorities to look into the matter and restore regular supply of water as soon as possible. The residents of Adambakkam region look forward to an early action.
