Sir,
I want to draw your attention to the ever increasing road accident in the city. Your paper has itself reported six accidents during the last 60 days.
These accidents are taking place due to several reasons. Some of these are poor road lighting, increasing encroachments, open violation of the traffic rules by drivers, absence of safety procedures and lack of traffic educations. The Deputy Commissioner of the city must chalk out a comprehensive plan to improve the traffic situation in the city. School children should be given proper traffic education. All vehicle drivers should be made to pass a screening test to judge their suitability as drivers. Roads should not only be repaired and widened but should also be provided with Sodium lamps to provide sufficient lighting. Helmet wearing law should be strictly enforced. Those violating traffic rules should not be allowed to go scot free. The traffic police should be pulled up to perform their duty honestly and efficiently. These and many more steps need to be urgently taken to check this menace of increasing road accidents.

Subject - To create awareness among people towards the problem of increase in number of accidents in the city
Dear sir,
I am regular user of your esteemed news paper.Through your newspaper I want to create awareness among people about the major problem of increasing accidents . Nowadays, the growth of vehicles have grown to a great number.People aren't assured about their safety. Running vehicles in a high speed is major now . Most accidents takes place due to the use of mobile phones during driving .Some are due to unconsciousness of that person , who is riding the vehicle .Nowadays taking selfies has become a major part. Due to a stupid selfie , a person loses his life, for a stupid selfie a family gets ruined , just due to a profile picture ! So, for a better tomorrow we need to work out from today itself ! As it says ,
" A SAFE TODAY, IS A BETTER TOMORROW "
Thus , I request you to kindly highlight this major problem in your esteemed news paper , so that , at least some lives will be saved .
