Subject: Problems of farmers due to insufficient rains.

Sir,

With respect I would like to draw attention on the condition of the farmers due to insufficient rains during monsoon. Rainfall is very essential for the crops. Due to less rainfall, crops are getting damaged. Farmers are suffering from hunger and thus committing suicide. Suicide rate is going beyond as farmers are suffering great loss. The prices of vegetables are getting high and farmers have to kick their stomachs for food. The condition of the farmers are getting worse day by day due to inadequate amount of rainfall.

Poor Farmers are the only people who suffer a lot. In spite of working hard in the scorching sun, they ultimately bear the pain. Many states face less rainfall thus leading to drought. A study shows that it is increasing and the temperature can make the drought widespread. Thus, the woes and plight of the farmers will remain.

I hope my letter finds some space in your esteemed daily. I will be grateful if you publish and readers are aware of the pain of the farmers.
