Sir,
From the ancient time girls are being considered as a burden for parents. They aren't allowed to come to world. People think that a boy will always support the parents while girls will go to another family one day. Illiteracy is one of the main reasons for killing of a girl child. illiterate people often think that girls are a burden. The girls are not given education and they aren't treated like boys. Now a days girls are outshining boys. They are achieving higher achievements. If boys are gold then girls are diamons. Having a daughter is a matter of pride. Narrow mindness and illiteracy are killing girls. PV Sindhu, Mary Kom are one of the biggest examples. They brought medals for out country in Olympics. Recently The Women's cricket team won the match but the men lost the match. Was discovery of Radium possible without Madam Curie? The answer is No. People need to understand that Girls are not a burden. They should be proud instead. In today's world girls can achieve so many things. All they need is support. I hope this article will find a place in your Newspaper.
