Subject: Growing Trend of Online Shopping
Dear Sir:
I write to your esteemed self to express my deep concern over the increasing trend of online shopping among people. Online companies such as Amazon, Flipcart, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Myntra, etc. are thriving exponentially. Some people have formed the view that it is far better and more economical shopping online than the traditional shopping.
Undoubtedly online shopping has many advantages such as products are cheaper; there is a whole range of variety available. Companies are providing facilities such as free delivery, payment on delivery, and quick delivery facilities. The prospective online buyer feels he does not have to waste his precious time to go to the market thus saving not only time but also the botheration of traffic jams, fuel expenses, and other associated inconveniences.
However, online shopping has many disadvantages also. Often the products displayed virtually fail to match the real products in colour, texture, and quality. At times the deliver takes far longer time. Besides, the customers miss the satisfaction of immediate gratification of buying a product. In many cases people feel cheated and disappointed also.
Through the columns of your reputed daily I appeal to people as well as concerned authority to look into the matter. The people must take all the precautions while doing online shopping. The Government should also set proper guidelines for online companies. Strict action must be taken against those who swindle and dupe people. Kindly, give due space to my ideas in your esteemed daily.
Thanking you,
Yours truly,
Gibran

Subject: Online shopping - present scenario
Dear Sir
The advent of networking brought many advancements in our lifestyle and working both at home and office. Our instructions are carried out at the press of a button and we are also happy to have the easy way out. The same applies to online shopping as it's becoming more and more prevalent among all groups of people, right from six to sixty.
Undoubtedly, we have the ease of getting the items of our choice delivered at our doorstep and we are save from the hassle of going to the market, making a choice and selecting a thing. At times we may need to get it changed which requires again going to the market. The online shopping sites have made it so easy to return an item if we are not pleased with it. Looking at its advantages, there's no harm in shopping online. But when it changes into a fad then it becomes a real concern.
Presently there is a flood of online shopping sites and people easily indulge in it, at times buying things which are not really needed, but just because there's an offer or discount, they end up buying unnecessarily being spendthrift. Through this letter, I would request the reader to apply their prudence and not fall a prey to online shopping as it is luring enough at times to trap us.
Thank you
Yours truly
