Respected Sir,
Today, I want to bring into your notice a criminal negligence on the part of government officials in particular and the public of our local community of our district in general. Sir, the negligence is being exercised in the department of forestry. Wood smuggling is at its peaks nowadays in our district. Our district is famous for its timber woods and natural scenery. But, timber mafia is rampant these days and with a underhand deal with the government officials and a few people from local community it has wreaked havoc on the forest area of our district.
This brutal act of deforestation, if not stopped now, will cause an irreparable loss to our country and coming generations. Therefore, you are, very humbly, requested to take a serious notice of this illegal activity and raise this issue in your newspaper. It is our common responsibility and social duty as well. Hope you will consider it to be urgent and address the issue in your newspaper at the earliest.
