Subject: Highlighting the Garbage problem
Sir,
I, the undersigned, would like to bring to your notice that in Abdul Rehman street a lot of garbage is thrown on the roads, There are no grabage bins to dispose the waste items. The litter smells bad and it is difficult to cross the lane too. I am writing to you only because I feel media is a great medium of communication. By way of your renowned newspaper you can highlight this issue and I hope government take some action for this.

Subject: Unsanitary conditions in Model Town
Sir
Through this letter, I want to bring to the attention of the authorities concerned the unsanitary conditions in Model Town since the last couple of weeks. The sweepers absent themselves and the streets stink with heaps of garbage. Nor the MCD garbage collecting vehicle comes on its regular round. We made a complaint to the MCD authorities followed by a reminder in the last two weeks, but all in vain. With the onset of rainy season, the situation has worsened due to the garbage choking streets.
This is our humble request to the authorities to please pay attention to the cleanliness of Model Town and ensure regular cleaning. I shall be greatly obliged if you publish my letter in your column so that it reaches the authorities concerned and steps are taken to solve the problem.
