Through the column of your esteemed newspaper I would like to draw the attention of concerned authorities towards the necessity of empowering women.

The condition of women in some parts of India is worst. They are not getting education.even if there are schools in the particular area the girl child is not getting education because she's a girl!!!! Many people of the society thinks that girl can't be compared by a boy.... Women and girls can too touch great heights. Why many job opportunities are not for women. People think women are not Powerful , haven't they listened about the word (नारी शक्ति ) women power. why girls and women don't have freedom as boys and men have. Sex selective abortions and increase in the number of female infanticide cases have become a significant social phenomenon in several parts of India. One can read atleast 3-5 cases daily on crime against women in newspaper. These criminals, rapists should get the most painful punishment ever. And why still also some families are not happy when it's the birth of a girl child, society should should change their attitude towards women. Every women should get opportunity to study.Girls and women should be taught self defence.

It will be good if you publish this in your newspaper and the concerned authorities will see the gravity of this matter and some measures to be adopted towards the necessity of empowering women.
