Subject:- Usage of plastic bags in recent times.

Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily I would like to share my views on the issues of using plastic bags.

Now a days plastic bags are immensely used. They are used for their durability and being waterproof. But plastic is not eco-friendly product. They neither decay nor decompose. Plastic bags cannot be destroyed unless they are burnt. Burning of plastic creates tremendous pollution in the atmosphere. People throw plastic bags in the canals and drains. Because of this they are choked. If thrown it on the fields and meadows, they make the soil unploughable and destroy its fertility.

I appeal to your good-selfs to publish this letter in your widely circulated daily adding some other affects of using plastic bags.
